Francesca Moore - Bhopal: Facing 30 Exhibition

Join Francesca Moore at the launch of her forthcoming show, Bhopal: Facing 30, at Photofusion Gallery, in Brixton, on Wednesday 4 November from 18:30 – 21:00.
This exhibition, running from 5 November – 4 December 2015, will feature a full photographic panoramic of the Union Carbide wall, built to contain the disaster site, and will be shown here for the first time juxtaposed with the formal family portraits of the families who reside around it.

Francesca Moore will be taking part in a series of gallery and studio events at Photofusion to coincide with the exhibition. Francesca will jointly be giving a studio portraiture masterclass where she will be focusing on the history and formal conventions of the group portrait and showing how photographers and painters have adopted creative approaches to the genre. Later in November Francesca will be in conversation with Martin Barnes, Senior Curator, Photographs, at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
